San Francisco Bay Area Not Heavily Hit by Foreclosures

Aug 20, 2007   //   by Michael   //   Bay Area  //  No Comments

Foreclosures continue throughout the country many people see in the news, the paper, and in the internet in many parts of the country. Again, for the most part, the San Francisco Bay Area real estate market has been one of the exceptions. The only cities that have felt the major weight of the foreclosures in the Bay Area has been the city of Oakland and in neighboring county of Sacramento with the city of Sacramento itself.

The States that are having the most foreclosures have been Ohio and California, but with California, it’s been mainly in the Southern part of the State. RealtyTrac, a company that sells foreclosed properties throughout the country just released a report that shows the top 20 areas in rate of foreclosures.
